My dream job!

Wow, I really love these images photographed from the Ultima 7: Serpent Isle documents. This is the sort of thing I love doing, creating maps and the story around them. Ah, would have been awesome to get paid doing this sort of work!

Also, we have the dungeon/quest design documents for Ultima 9 here ... again, a dream job!

Now I'm doing this sort of work as a hobby - a "work of love" really. I'm glad this information is out there, it proves I'm not insane for the amount of detail being put into this CRPG project.

/me looks over to the stack of papers that are five inches tall.

Nope, not insane. wink

Re: My dream job!

Never played the Ultima series of games. I did play a little with the AD&D games like "Pool or Radiance"

Never was much into these types of games, of course when CT comes out, it will all change. wink

Re: My dream job!

I AGREE !!!!! Lord British et al are cool.

Wish we could make money doing this stuff.... the amount of work involved in contemporary games is a nightmare-ishly large movie production scale crew compared to the small band development of 20-30 years ago.

Oh well, the times have changed.....
