The new Commodore C64X

So is anyone getting one of these? I know it's really a poor setup and a bit expensive, But I still feel need to maybe get one before they disapear like other C= company ventures.

Yeah really no point but Since i have a huge collection of commodore why not buy this and add it to tat as well. Plus can carry to work when needed. big_smile

A while back they said the cases would be sold empty also ... that is what I'm waiting for. Don't really need another computer really ...

Yeah i need another computer like i need a hole in my head. Lets see when i bring it up with wife today. I am sure there will be some at ECCC this year.

Pina as for case/keyboard only its perfect to use like c64 case and the keyrah. Which people at work wanted to know how i could type on that thing all day lol.

Maybe someday someone will get the original breadbin redone. I would like nice clear case C64 breadbin smile

Wonder if these would go on sale anytime soon as barebones kit would like to get one.

Now that Barry is gone not sure how much longer this stuff will be around for.

How do I get one of those overpriced 64x (barebones) keyboards cheaply?

I guess I'll have to wait and see with commodoreusa.net being down but their products still being promoted by former partner Amibyte.com (located in Italy).

I originally found 64X cases being advertised on craigslist for $200US (*listing now removed*) \o/

However based on facebook messages on Commodore USA makes you feel like it is a scam.
